Jeg skjønner ikke helt dette med sydenturister i fellesferien. Det er jo varmt som i helvete. Betale masse for å ligge innsmurt i solkrem på en svett stol og drikke 20 liter vann mens du drømmer om kvikk lunsj i langrennsløypa? Det er ikke heaven, det er PAIN.  Dra OFF SEASON.

Når det er sagt, her er det fantastisk. Men å se tjukke småbarn med tredjegradsforbrenning på hele kroppen som spiser pølse og pommes frites gjør meg sinnsykt forbanna. Hva händer! Tidlig død på boks!

Og ellers er alt bra! Har kjørt et sinnsykt rally på støvete veiere i dag med proffsyklisten (programleder) Dag Erik Pedersen i passasjersetet. Lærte en ting eller to om svinger og fart. Kommer godt med når jeg skal ha cola på søndagene.

Jeg er på innspillingen av Mesternes Mester III på Kypros, og i dag ankom en spent gjeng med idrettshelter vårt 78% luftfuktighetsparadis med godt humør og fryktelig dårlig humor.

Mesternes Mester har hatt over 1 million seere i snitt på begge de forrige sesongene. Dette blir bare enda bedre. 30 varmegrader i skyggen og rå muskelkraft. Miaowzaa.

Det er jo så mange Beliebere der ute som ønsker å lese om Justin Bieber på blogg, aller helst se bilder, som de kan lagre, kopiere og skrive ut og kysse på. Sikker på at noen føler seg truffet nå. And so sorry to have lured you here with no pics to show for, but somebody spilled beer all over my iPhone, and it’s in for a swap. Moving on -

Arriving 24 hours after I should have gone to sleep before my flight(s), Cyprus greeted the team with 86 blissful degrees in Fahrenheit. We are here to film the new season of Champion of the Champions, a major Norwegian and Swedish hit show, featuring world famous athletes of the previously mentioned respective natonalities battling each other in a series of challenges for the fairest title of them all. No, I’m not one of the contestants.

My bed was full of ants last night because I had left on it some home made crisp bread I brought before I went to dinner. I killed all the ants single-handedly and prayed for their hungry little souls and went on to praise my new fly-/travel socks once again for letting me into my evening shoes.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go drive on the wrong side of the road in one of the top 3 most dangerous (sorry, Mom) traffics in the world (only surpassed by some Asian country and, I bet, LA). We’re going over to check out the contestants’ mansion. Which, UPDATE, is pretttty neat.

I would just like to add that I did NOT draw a heart on a pic of Lady Gaga. I stole the pic.

After seeing what kind of shoes [footwear] Lady Gaga travels in, I suspect I’m not the only one under 80 slipping into TRAVEL SOCKS on a plane. Yes baby, that’s right. Bought a pair today and I love them with all my heart. No more elephant-legs. No more stepping bare-footed into a new country or getting blod clots over Spain. Hypothetically speaking. So Mediterranean island, here I come. Alive and kicking.

Add the sleeping mask, inflatable foot rest and anti-kid ear plugs, and we’ll see who gets jealous looks from the rest of the film crew. Ha!
